Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is first University established in 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999 The University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act.
It is a teaching and affiliating University with the explicit objective of facilitating and promoting “studies, research and extension work in emerging areas of higher education with focus on professional education, for example engineering, technology, management studies, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, education, law, etc. and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields and other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.”

IPU CET ADMISSION AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2019:
Admission to courses of the university are strictly done by Common Entrance Test (CETs). The University Holds 46 CETs for admission to all of its programs. The University also holds CET for Ph.D. The Candidate can apply for the IP University form in the month of February every year.
Pass in 12th class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

IPU CET Law Syllabus 2019 - BBA/BA LLB :
English Language and Comprehension– The section has questions to evaluate a candidate’s English language skills. English Language and Comprehension section comprise different topics including Prepositions, Articles, Sentence Construction, Narration, Comprehension, and Vocabulary.
General Knowledge– This section of IPU CET Law 2019 would test the general awareness of the candidate and includes questions related to the following topics – National Culture & History, Geography & Natural Resources, Science & Technology, International Affairs and Current National Events.
Reasoning– Reasoning Section includes the basic reasoning skills where questions will be of Numerical and Logical Reasoning types.
