About
The BBA-DBE Undergraduate Programme in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship is a three-year degree offered online that can be completed within a maximum of six academic years from the date of joining. The learners will have multiple exit options and could get a certificate, a diploma, or a degree. Students who choose to exit the programme with a certificate or a diploma may, within constraints, be able to rejoin the programme to complete the degree. The courses will be delivered online asynchronously, while exams will be held offline at different centres across India. This programme may be undertaken as a standalone primary degree or can be pursued along with any other educational programme the student might be pursuing. The programme and the admission process will follow the prevailing norms for the reservation of seats for designated categories, as required by law made by the Parliament.

- A minimum of 60 % marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in recognized board exams for general category & NC-OBC & EWS category candidates.
- 55% marks or equivalent CGPA for SC, ST & PwD (>= 40% disability) candidates

Application Process and Selection Process
Application Process
The Programme will accept applications through the online application portal notified on the IIMB website. Candidates must complete the application formalities and remit the prescribed application fee to be considered for further process. The application form for admission to BBA (DBE) 2024 will be available at dbe.iimb.ac.in (From 15/06/2024 onwards). Please refer to the important dates in this document to know the application window.
Application Form
The application form must be completed on the online admission application portal for the BBA in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship Programme. Ensure that your name and date of birth mentioned on the form match those on your mark sheets. No changes shall be permitted subsequently. Candidates must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a mobile phone number throughout the admission process. All communication regarding admissions will only be sent to the registered email address.
The following documents are mandatory in the application form, wherever applicable:
1. Government-issued photo and address identity card with validity
2. Valid certificates for SC/ST/NC-OBC/EWS/PwD categories applicants. No change in category will be entertained after the application has been submitted.
3. Pass certificate and marks sheet of recognized class 10 Board or equivalent.
4. Pass certificate and marks sheet of recognized class 12 Board or equivalent.
In addition to the above list of documents, the Admissions Office may seek other relevant documents at their discretion.
Selection process
Candidates who fulfil the basic eligibility criteria will be informed to appear for the IIMB DBE Entrance Test 2024, conducted at designated centres across India. It will be a Computer-Based Test. Please note that candidates will be selected for the programme only on the basis of their performance in the test. Based on the category-wise selection cut-off in the IIMB DBE Entrance Test 2024, decided by the Admissions Office, only the shortlisted candidates shall be informed to register for the programme by paying the required programme fee.
Programme Fee
The total tuition fee for a three-year Degree programme is Rs. 4,50,000 for the 2024 batch. There is a 50% fee waiver for SC/ST and PwD students.
