The State Common Entrance Test (CET), Maharashtra announced the exam dates of MHCET Law 2023 for the five-year LLB and three-year LLB courses. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law or MH CET Law is a state-level law entrance exam in Maharashtra. State CET Cell, Maharashtra conducts MH CET law for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes offered by the law colleges in the state of Maharashtra. A total of 147 law colleges accepts MH CET law scores. These colleges offer around 10,860 seats in 5-year LLB programmes and 16,240 seats in 3-year LLB.

The CET Cell does not release the answer key for MH CET Law. However, candidates will be able to get exam analysis and unofficial answer keys post the conduct of the exam.

|
The result of MH CET law 2023 will be announced soon after the examination. The MH CET Law 2023 result will be released in the form of all India merit lists and individual scorecards.

MHCET Law MAH-LLB (5 Years) Eligibility Criteria
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra prescribes the MHCET law eligibility criteria 2023 for 5-year LLB programmes offered by various law colleges. The MHCET law 2023 eligibility criteria cover the minimum conditions one needs to fulfill before filling out the application form.
MH CET law eligibility criteria 2023 - 5-year integrated law:
- Qualifying exam: The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam (including 3-year diploma in engineering)
- Minimum marks: Maharashtra state candidates needs to secure a minimum aggregate of: 45% - General category, 40% - SC/ST, 42% - VJ / DT / NT(A) / NT / O.B.C./ S.B.C. category.
- Others: Candidates who have passed senior secondary or obtained a first-degree certificates through distance education or correspondence method are also eligible for admission.

The exam is conducted only in the Online Mode in Multiple Sessions if required, by the competent authority. Check MH CET Law Application Form
Step 1: Candidates should Register successfully their Online Application Form for MH CET Law 2023 at www.dhepune.gov.in and www.mahacet.org.
Step 2: After successfully registering for the exam, candidates need to fill in personal information like name, parents name, Gender, DOB and other educational information.

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra offers 2 varieties of LLB courses (5 Years & 3 Years). And there will be separate exams for both courses. Both Exams contain Multiple Choice Questions. - Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning:This section will test the candidate’s interest in the study of Law, Legal aptitude, and problem-solving ability. Questions will be framed with the help of legal prepositions and a set of facts to which the said prepositions have to be applied. Some prepositions may not be true in the real sense. Candidates will have to assume the truth of these prepositions and answer the questions drawing well-supported conclusions.
- General Knowledge of Current Affairs:The topics such as History (Ancient. Medieval and Modern), Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics, and the Current Affairs of the past One Year. The subject is to assess the knowledge of recent happenings and awareness of the world.
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning:The subject is to test the candidate’s ability to identify patterns, and logical links and rectify illogical arguments. It will include wide analogies, completing arguments, drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, and applying principles or rules. Further, the subject is to measure the ability to understand the structure. relationship and to draw logical conclusions about the structures. It includes reasoning deductively from the set of statements and rules or principles that describes the relationship among persons, things, or events.
