National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE) is a national-level hospital entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for providing admissions to BSc (Hospitality and Hotel Administration).

NTA will conduct the exam annually on behalf of the NCHMCT.

The NCHM JEE scores are accepted by all the participating institutes.

  1. Candidate must read carefully the Instructions (including how to fill up Application Form online) given in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA Website. Candidates not complying with the Instructions shall be summarily

  1. Instructions for filling Online Application Form:
    • Download Information Bulletin and Replica of Application Read these carefully to ensure your eligibility.
    • Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:

Step-1: Register for Online Registration using your own Email ID and Mobile No. and note down system generated Application Number. Complete the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application Number.

Step-2: Upload legible scanned images of: (i) a recent photograph (in jpg file, size 10Kb- 200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background; (ii) candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb- 30kb); (iii) PwD Certificate (file size 50 kb-300 kb in PDF form) (iv) Category Certificate, if applicable (SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS etc.) (file size: 50KB to 300KB)

Step-3: Pay fee using the Payment Gateway integrated to the Online Application through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI / Wallet and keep proof of fee paid.

All the 3 Steps can be done together or at separate timings.

In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of prescribed Fee, then the candidate should approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway integrator (in the helpline number and email given in Annexure-I of the Information Bulletin), for ensuring the successful payment.

Inspite of above, if successful transaction is not reflected on the Portal, the candidate may contact NTA Helpline. If the payment issue is still not resolved, the candidate may pay second time.

However, any duplicate payment received from the candidate by NTA in course of said transactions will be refunded through the same payment mode through which the duplicate payment is received, after fee reconciliation by NTA.

  1. Information such as his/ her name, contact details / address, category, PwD status, educational qualification details, date of birth, choice of exam cities, etc. provided by the candidate in the online Application Form will be treated as Any request for change in such particulars after the closure of correction period will not be considered by NTA.
  2. NTA does not edit/modify/alter any information entered by the candidate under any Any request for change in information will not be entertained. Therefore, candidates are advised to exercise utmost caution for filling up correct details in the Application Form.
  3. Candidates must ensure that their email address and mobile number to be registered in their online Application Form are their own, as relevant/ important information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address and/or through SMS on registered mobile number NTA shall not be responsible for any non- communication/ mis-communication with a candidate in the email address or mobile number given by him/ her other than his/ her own.
  4. NTA disclaims any liability that may cause due to incorrect information provided by the candidate in his/her online Application

Candidates must ensure that their email address and mobile number to be registered in their online Application Form are their own, as relevant/important information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address and / or through SMS on registered mobile number only. NTA shall not be responsible for any non-communication / mis-communication with a candidate in the email address or mobile number given by him/her other than his/her

Candidates shall appear in the exam at their own cost at the Examination Centre on the Date / Shift and time indicated on their respective Admit Cards which would be issued by the NTA in due course through its Website

NCHMCT JEE 2023 Eligibility

  • Aspirants must make sure that they fulfil NCHMCT JEE eligibility criteria 2023 before filling out the application form. According to NCHMCT eligibility criteria, candidates must meet the age limit and the minimum required academic qualification.
  • NCHMCT JEE Qualifications Required: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with English as a mandatory subject from a recognized Board of Education.
  • Final Class: Candidates pursuing their final exam of class 12 are also eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE with a valid certificate for proof.
  • Age Limit: For the candidates from the General and O.B.C. category, the upper age limit is 25 years as of Jul 1, 2023. Candidates born on or after Jul 1, 1998 are eligible. For candidates belonging to the ST/SC categories, the upper age limit is 28 years.
  • Physical Fitness: A physical fitness certificate has to be produced by the candidates during admission.
  • NCHMCT 2023 Seat Reservation
  • Candidates from certain categories applying for NCHMCT JEE 2023 exam will be provided with some specific relaxation by the conducting authorities. The seat reservation for different categories for NCHMCT JEE exam is mentioned in the table below.

How to Fill NCHMCT JEE 2023 Application Form? 



To fill the NCHMCT JEE 2023 application form aspirants will have to follow the below-mentioned steps.

Step 1: Filling Online Registration Form

To apply for the NCHMCT JEE 2023, first of all, aspirants will have to register themselves on the official website by providing personal details like Name, DoB, and other required details.

Step 2: Filling Details in NCHMCT JEE Application Form

After the completion of the NCHMCT JEE 2023 registration process, aspirants will have to provide some major details related to them in the NCHMCT JEE 2023 application form such details are Preferred Test City, Aspirant’s Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Gender, Category, Communicational Address, Date of Birth, Email id, Contact No., and qualifications details, etc. After providing the necessary details either the aspirant can reset the form or can submit the form as per their need and choice.

Step 3: Upload Photograph & Signature

In the next step, aspirants have to upload a scanned copy of their signature & passport size photo. The photograph of the aspirants should be very clear with a light-colored or black/white background. Step 4: Payment of NCHMCT JEE 2023 Application Fee

The application fee for NCHMCT JEE 2023 will be paid via online mode only. In order to pay the application fee for NCHMCT JEE 2023, aspirants will have to choose the payment mode from either Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ PayTM/ UPI Payment. Category NCHMCT JEE 2023 Application Fee General/ OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Rs. 1000/ ST/ SC/ PwD Rs. 450/ EWS Rs. 700/ Transgender Rs. 450/ Note: Earlier, the application fee for NCHMCT JEE could be paid offline also using challan but now due to the COVID-19 pandemic it has been discontinued across the country. 

Step 5: Download Confirmation Page

After making the successful payment of the NCHMCT JEE 2023 application fee, the aspirants can download the Confirmation Page. If in case, the system will not generate the confirmation page after making the payment then the fee amount will be refunded into the aspirant’s account and the transaction will be deleted. In this case, aspirants have to make another payment using the same mode or a different mode of payment until the confirmation page is generated.

Step 6: Print Application Form for NCHMCT JEE Exam

After completing the payment process, the system will generate an automated application number. Now, after the generation of the automated application number aspirants will have to keep the printout safe for upcoming procedures of admission. Once the application fee will be submitted then aspirants will be notified about the confirmation. After the submission of the application form, no modification in the details will be entertained


NCHM JEE 2023 Admit Card

NTA will online release the admit card for NCHMCT JEE 2023. Candidates can download admit cards by entering their application number, date of birth and security pin. All the details of the student admit card must verify the card, and if there is any discrepancy, it should be immediately brought to the notice of the authorities.

Steps to download NCHMCT JEE admit card

  • Step 1 – Visit the official website of NCHMCT, nchmjee.nta.nic.in 
  • Step 2 – Click on the ‘NCHM JEE 2023 admit card’ tab.
  • Step 3 – Enter the application number, date of birth and the password
  • Step 4 – Enter the security pin.
  • Step 5 – Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • Step 6 – NCHMCT JEE 2023 admit card will appear on the screen.

 

What are the steps to check NCHMCT JEE Result?

  • Step 1 – Visit the official website of NCHMCT JEE.
  • Step 2 – Click on ‘Scorecard of NCHM JEE’
  • Step 3 – Click on ‘View NCHM JEE 2023 – NTA Score’
  • Step 4 – Enter roll number, application number, date of birth and security pin.
  • Step 5 – Click on the ‘Sign in’ tab.
  • Step 6 – Check the NCHM JEE result and download the same.

 

NCHM JEE Cutoff

In terms of opening and closing ranks, the NCHMCT JEE 2023 cutoff will be released for multiple rounds. The cutoff is the minimum number of points a candidate must achieve to be eligible to apply for college admission. Following the announcement of the results, the NCHMCT JEE cutoff was announced. NCHMCT JEE cutoff 2023 is calculated based on an aspirant’s minimum qualifying marks and rank in NCHMCT JEE.
