Ms. Anupriya Mishra – Thank you so much!
Success Mantra – Can you recall the exact moment when you realized the importance of CLAT?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – I believe it’s the day to day realization that justice is given in courts through the subtotal efforts of lawyer and therefore, to fight for justice and redress wrong, CLAT is the mechanism.
Success Mantra – Finally at what point in time did you make up your mind to make a career in ‘Law field’?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – During my early schooling days, I decided to make a career in ‘Law field’.
Success Mantra – You must have read topper’s interviews in newspapers/magazines; what inspired you the most? Any particular success story which influenced your journey to this result?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – Every topper has a failure story behind him and therefore everyone has influenced and inspired me through their journeys. But most importantly I was inspired by my dad.
Success Mantra – Was CLAT your planned decision or your parent’s wish? Did you keep in mind some time frame, for the examination preparation and number of attempts?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – My role model i.e. my father is an advocate. So, it was my dream to be a lawyer and my parents always supported me. My parents always taught me to work with discipline and in scheduled manner. So, yes there was a time frame.
Success Mantra – What was your first step when you were really serious about making a career in law field?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – I decided to prepare under best guide to improve my skills and strengths, to overcome weakness of ill-preparation and half-hearted approach & joined Success Mantra – GTB Nagar Coaching Institute.
Success Mantra – Where you confident of your success in this examination and how did you react to this news of your success?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – Surprisingly enough, I was the last me to have received the news that I cleared CLAT. Since, everyone was busy celebrating; they forgot to inform me only.
Success Mantra – In how many attempts have you achieved this success? How do you visualize your preparation/previous attempts?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – I cleared CLAT entrance exam in my very first attempt. The classes of faculties of the Institute helped me to achieve this success and Mock tests provided at my coaching Institute helped me in building confidence & cracking CLAT-2019.
Success Mantra – Were you preparing for other career opportunities as well while preparing for your ultimate goal in career in law field?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – I was completes focused and dedicated towards making career in law field. However, I was prepared to face the worst situations.
Success Mantra – ‘Time-Management’ is a key factor. How did you manage things?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – One thing that we as a student cannot afford to take things lightly is the importance of time in our journey. In order to not to have panic attacks at last moments, I would regularly study and revise my notes. Also, before I start preparing for particular exams I would prepare a chart for the complete month and it would contain numbers of hours I would study each day and within how many days I will be completing the various subjects.
Success Mantra – Were you preparing for other entrance exam as well while preparing for your ultimate goal i.e. career in judicial services?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – No, I only focused upon the judicial services though I had kept litigation as a backup option.
Success Mantra – What was your approach towards general studies and daily current events during your preparations?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – I read the previous questions papers to apprise myself of the way CLAT asks the questions. And I also refer online blog and monthly book of current affairs for general studies and daily current events. Apart from it, I read newspapers daily which came in really handy during the exam. I also joined a test series and assignment given by our coaching ‘Success Mantra’, which had become very useful for me.
Success Mantra – What was your approach towards English and Math during your preparations?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – I am very fond of using social sites like Facebook and Instagram. By using it, I follow daily vocab and questions provided on social websites by Success Mantra Digital. This makes learning smart and fun. And I also prefer my classroom notes for all topics of English. And for Math, I preferred my classroom daily practice questions, and before one month of exams, I started solving previous year test series of Math.
Success Mantra – How do you make a plan to deal with the negative marking?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – Firstly, I started solving those questions about which I am 100% sure. Then, I proceed with other sections as well and attempt those which I am confident at. Next, I find those section which I think I can relate with and hence solve it. I advise everyone, if you are not at all sure about the question, it is better not to attempt the question. You can take a chance with questions having 25-30% of doubt. Never go on ticking the answers randomly. Because luck will not favour everytime. Try to avoid getting negative marks.
Success Mantra – What was your approach towards Legal aptitude during your preparations?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – For Legal Aptitude, I dedicated my efforts on my classroom sessions tremendously towards answer writing and solve assignment of Legal Aptitude.
Success Mantra – In your Opinion at which Educational level should one start preparing for CLAT?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – In my opinion, one should start preparation for CLAT in the beginning of 12th class because there is a tough completion in CLAT.
Success Mantra – To whom would you like to give credit for your success?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – I believe that my father and my teachers deserves the most credit for my success because they always support me. And also I think, Success Mantra deserves credit for my success, because it helped me to learn in multiple ways and they polished me as a learner. I am really very thankful to Success Mantra team.
Success Mantra – Any suggestion/advice you would like to give the future aspirants?
Ms. Anupriya Mishra – CLAT is a tough exam. There are bound to be good and bad face during the preparations but the need is to enjoy this journey and learn from your mistakes at each step. Hard work and dedication have no substitutes. But by complimenting them with a Success Mantra strategy which is aligned with the demands of the exam is the best way forward.
