SYMBIOSIS LAW SCHOOL
Symbiosis Law Schools are one of the big names in the field of law. There are four colleges under the ambit of this name and these are Symbiosis Law School Pune, Noida, Hyderabad and Nagpur. The admission to these three takes place through a common entrance test by the name SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test), Written Aptitude Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI). ELIGIBILITY FOR SLAT
- Student should have passed standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination passed from any recognized board with minimum 45% marks or equivalent grade.
- In case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes, 40% marks or equivalent grade is required in class XII.
- Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.
MODE OF ADDMISSION – SLAT, WAT & PI
- The admission to the National Law School Bangalore happens through a Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SAT).
- It is an online entrance test for admission to the five year integrated BA LLB and BBA LLB.
- It consists of objective type questions of a standard expected of 10+2 students and will be of 2 hours 30 minutes duration.
- There is no negative marking.

- WAT is based on current and general topics and tests candidates knowledge, analytical and thinking abilities.
- On the basis of the scores of SLAT, candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interaction (PI)-WAT (Writing Ability Test).
- The final merit list will be prepared using the entrance test and PI-WAT score.

DURATION & ACADEMIC TERMS
- The duration of the course shall be for a period of Five Academic Years.
- Each academic year is divided into two semesters.
- Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) will be awarded at the end of semester X by taking into consideration the performance of all semester examinations after obtaining minimum 4.00 CGPA out of 10 CGPA.
